The Resource Room at John Hay

Provides specially designed instruction, modifications and adaptations as necessary to support student learning in the general education classroom.

Fosters collaboration between general education teachers, special educators, support staff, and parents to develop the best education plan for each child.

Parallels instruction based on the Washington State's Essential Academic Learning Requirements and grade level expectations.

Allows individual students to progress at their level while remaining in the general education setting.

Is an upbeat, positive place where ALL students learn.
